How much do Events Cost? How much does a Wedding Cost these days?
Many people don’t know the cost of weddings as it may be the first time planning such a big and important event, and that’s ok! We are in the business of knowing these things and we are very happy to explain!
Did you know that the average cost in the United States for a wedding in 2021, for about 150 guest is about $35,000? It’s true.
But, we are located in Loudoun County, one of the wealthiest counties in the country. The average overall cost to host a wedding for about 150 guests is approximately $45,000 in Loudoun County.
Keep in mind that you pay the most for the venue and for catering costs, so keep that in mind when your guest list is over 150 people.
Remember, weddings that are held in hotels are for the sake of convenience and ease of planning.
But, if you have the desire for something very special, like a wedding at a beautiful venue like ours, it’s an experience you— and anyone who attends your wedding— won’t easily forget!
We are a venue only and we offer different packages from 8 hour rental with different options, or packages that are 12 hours that include tables and chairs. We also have a guest cottage onsite for clients to stay overnight.
For catering and planners, we require that you choose from our approved list. You are able to choose your own florist, entertainment, photographer, and other vendors.
Our venue has two suites to get ready, or can be used a room for band members that are playing at your event. We also have state-of-the-art ambient lighting, catering space, gorgeous bathrooms, three outdoor spaces for ceremonies or cocktails areas.
Our prices for 2023 range from $9,950 to $14,000 depending on the packages and what’s included, number of hours and number of guests, guest cottage, horse for guests to visit with, etc.
Each hosted event maintains use of the barn with a lot of privacy from the public with gates and security, if needed. Our landmark location on Route 50 and is in the perfect location for you and your guests. Being on a main road make us easy to find, allows us to offer access for large buses, Uber/Lyft drop off and pickup are often used at our location.

Furniture in The Middleburg Barn including some wonderful antiques
We do several non-wedding events from Corporate Fundraisers, Holiday Parties, Political Events, Film Festivals, TV/Film productions, etc.
Seating is 350 comfortably at tables and 700 theater style, or up to 2,000 for larger events. Ask us about our 48 thousand square foot space that can seat over 1,000 or our Loft Space that can seat 100 people. You can can host an a small gathering in an intimate setting, or a large get-together that can accommodate live music and a dance floor.
